Fat or Oil Content: a determining factor in foods processing

With the consumer focus on fat content in foods, it has never been more important to be able to monitor and control fat or oil content of a variety of foodstuffs, from snacks to cheese to ground beef. The requirement for packaged foods not to exceed their labeled fat content is a key driver. On-line fat measurement can help processors monitor process trends and ensure that levels stay within the required limits.

Calibrated to your preferred off-line fat determination method, the MM710 from NDC provides highly accurate results in real-time, enabling the process manager to make informed decisions about the control and regulation of the manufacturing process.

Alternatively, the InfraLab at-line foods analyzer can be calibrated to a wet chemical method to enable rapid analysis of samples from the process and archiving of measured data.
