Multi-stage cosmetic coating processes require
monitoring to determine when each drying stage is complete
and the next coating should be applied.
The PH710 pharmaceutical gauge is designed to be applied in
drum and pan coaters to provide a real-time measurement of the
coating, transmitted to the process control system via an analogue
or digital output.
The benefit of real-time monitoring is the potential to shorten
processing times and increase productivity by reduction in rejected
materials.
The PH710 is constructed from 316 stainless steel and is
sealable to IP67 for insertion in the process.
